Ingredients For cherry kiss cookies

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tsp
    maraschino cherry juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 2 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    maraschino cherries, chopped
  • 36
    milk chocolate kisses

How To Make cherry kiss cookies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    In a large bowl beat butter and sugar, until blended.
  • 3
    Beat in cherry juice and almond extract.
  • 4
    Gradually beat in flour.

    Fold in cherries.

    Scoop dough in balls and place on baking sheet.

    Bake 10 - 12 minutes.

    Upon removing from oven press one kiss into each cookie.

    Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes.

    Remove to wire rack to cool.
