Just ran across the recipe in my file, and realized I hadn't made these yet. Can't even remember where the recipe came from. Will be making these this week-end for sure.

Ingredients For chai snickerdoodles

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp
    ginger powder
  • 1 tsp
    cardamon, ground
  • 1/2 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    cream of tartar

How To Make chai snickerdoodles

  • 1
    Combine sugar and spices, then remove 1/2 cup to roll cookie balls in later. Add butter and cream together with sugar mixture until fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time add vanilla and mix together add dry ingredients and mix well.

    shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in reserved sugar mixture. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 mins.
