Ingredients For cassarole cookies

1egg
-
1/2 csugar
-
1 cchopped dates
-
1 ccoconut
-
1 cchopped walnuts
-
1/2 cconfectionary sugar

1/2 stickbutter or margarine

1 jarmaraschino cherries
How To Make cassarole cookies

1Preheat oven to 350

2Butter a cassarole dish

3Mix egg and sugar in the cassarole dish

4Add remaining ingredients until well combined

5Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes

6Allow Cookie mixture to cool Slice cherries in half and place on paper towels to drain and dry.

7Butter your hands and form walnut size balls. Roll in confectionary sugar and top with 1/2 cherry. Allow to air dry for 6 hours.. store in air tight container. Do not let them touch
