Ingredients For carrot cake-oatmeal cookies

1 pkg1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) betty crocker® oatmeal cookie mix

1/2 cbutter
-
1/2 cgrated carrots

1 Tbspwater

1 tspcinnamon

1egg
-
4 ozsoftened cream cheese

1 Tbspsoftened butter
-
1 1/2 tspvanilla
-
1 1/2 cpowdered sugar

1/2 cchopped pecans
How To Make carrot cake-oatmeal cookies

1Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix with butter, grated carrots, water, cinnamon and egg until stiff dough forms.

2On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart.

3Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

4Mix cream cheese, 1 tablespoon butter, vanilla and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread frosting over cookies. Sprinkle with nuts. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.
