Ingredients For carrot bars

1 call-purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspsalt

2eggs
-
1 cgranulated sugar

2/3 cvegetable oil

2 4-oz jarcarrot baby food
-
2 tspvanilla extract
-
1 3-oz pkgcream cheese
-
1/4 cbutter
-
2 csifted powdered sugar
How To Make carrot bars

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9x2-inch pan; set aside.

2In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; set aside. In large bowl combine eggs, granulated sugar, and oil. Beat with wooden spoon until combined. Beat in carrots and 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir in flour mixture. Pour into prepared pan.

3Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.

4For frosting, in medium mixing bowl, let cream cheese and butter stand for 30 minutes until softened. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Beat in remaining 1 tsp. vanilla. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until desired consistency. Spread frosting on cooled bars. Store in refrigerator.
