1 cwhite chocolate chips, melted and cooled

3/4 cbutter, softened

1/4 corange juice

1 tspvanilla

3-1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking powder

1 tspgrated orange peel

1/4 tspsalt

16 candy orange slices, each cut into thirds
How To Make white chocolate candy orange cookies

1In a large bowl, beat sugar, melted chips, and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.

2Beat in orange juice, vanilla and egg. Stir in dry ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

3Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for 9 to 12 minutes.

4Immediately press orange slice piece into center of each cookie. Cool 2 minutes, then remove from sheet to cool on wire rack.
