candy corn cake mix cookies

I made these cookies with two types of candy corn, Brach's Caramel Apple Candy Corn, and Caramel Candy Corn. And since they're a rather moist cookie, I place them in a Tupperware container and in the freezer. I only take out cookies I plan on eating immediately.

Ingredients For candy corn cake mix cookies

  • 1 (15.25 ) oz
    box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Large
    eggs, at room temperature
  • 42
    or more pieces of candy corn (i purchased one 3.5 oz. bag of brach's caramel apple candy corn, and one 3.5 oz. bag of caramel candy corn to decorate the cookies.)

How To Make candy corn cake mix cookies

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Line three baking sheets with parchment paper, then set them aside.

    In a large bowl, add the cake mix, vegetable oil and eggs. Use an electric mixer, gradually beat the ingredients together until it forms into cookie dough. (This should take about 30 seconds.)

    Using a small cookie scoop, scoop cookie dough out onto the baking sheets. (I was able to make 14 cookie dough balls out onto each baking sheet. Placing each about 1 inches apart.)

    Bake in oven for 9 minutes.

    Remove baking sheet from the oven, and immediately place candy corn on each cookie. Pressing each candy corn lightly onto each cookie.

    Allow the cookies to cool on the parchment lined baking sheet for a couple minutes, before transferring them to cool completely on a wire rack.

    Note: There are 2 main ingredients in making these cookies. A boxed cake mix and candy corn.
