Ingredients For butterpuff balls

  • 5 cups sifted flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

How To Make butterpuff balls

  • 1
    Cream butter (don’t substitute with margarine) and shortening well. Add sugar. Beat til light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Gradually add all the flour mixture. Mix well.

    Shape into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Put on lightly greased cooky sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. My Old Recipes
