Ingredients For buttermilk cookies
- COOKIE:

1 cfirmly packed brown sugar

1 cwhite sugar

1 cbutter, softened

2eggs

1 cbuttermilk

4 call-purpose flour

2 tspvanilla extract

2 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt
- FROSTING:

1/3 cbutter, softened

1 cfirmly packed brown sugar

1/4 cmilk
-
2 1/4 cpowdered sugar
How To Make buttermilk cookies

1Cookie: Mix sugars and oleo in mixing bowl - beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs - 1 at a time and mix well. Add dry ingredients and vanilla and mix well. Chill cookie dough in refrigerator an hour or until cool. Drop by teaspoonfuls and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes until light brown on edges. Cool cookies and then frost with butter frosting.

2Melt butter and brown sugar - Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute. Add milk and bring to another boil. Cool this mixture. Beat in the powdered sugar. Then frost cookies.
