Ingredients For butterfinger whoopie pie

  • CAKE

    white cake mix
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    crushed butterfingers
  • FILLING
  • 1 stick
    butter, room temp
  • 1/4 c
    shortning
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp
    water
  • 3 c
    powdered sugar
  • 3/4 c
    crushed butterfingers

How To Make butterfinger whoopie pie

    Preheat oven to 350. Mix cake ingredients for about 2 mins and roll into i inch balls. Place on a non stick cookie sheet and bake for 9 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes. Transfer to parchment paper and cool completely.Fill with butter cream.

    Cream butter, shorting and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Add honey, vanilla and water and beat again . Slowly add powdered sugar until all is incorporated. And then mix in butterfingers.
