Ingredients For butter pecan balls

  • 1 c
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    light molasses
  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar

How To Make butter pecan balls

  • 1
    Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add molasses and blend. Gradually add flour and salt. Mix well. Stir in nuts. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Placed on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm. Makes about 4 dozen.
