brown sugar maple cookies
This recipe cried out to be cut out with leaf cookie cutters. Lovely for Fall.

Ingredients For brown sugar maple cookies

3/4 cbutter, softened

3/4 cdark brown sugar

1/3 cmaple syrup

2 tspvanilla

1egg
-
2 1/2 cflour

1/2 tspbaking soda
How To Make brown sugar maple cookies

1Cream together butter and brown sugar.

2Add maple syrup and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.

3Add egg and mix until combined.

4Add flour and baking soda and beat until well combined and dough forms a ball.

5Refrigerate at least one hour, or over night.

6Roll out dough to 1/4" thickness.

7Place on parchment lined cookie sheet.

8Freeze until firm, about 20-25 minutes.

9Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

10Bake cookies 12-14 minutes until golden brown.

11Cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes.

12Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
