Ingredients For blonde brownies

2 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

2/3 cunsalted butter

2 cpacked dark brown sugar

2eggs
-
2 tspvanilla

1 csemi-sweet chocolate chips

1 ctoasted pecans

for a more cake like brownie, add 1 tsp. baking powder

**you can use light brown sugar. although dark brown sugar adds a delightful tenderness to these brownies.
How To Make blonde brownies

1Sift together flour, soda, and salt.

2In a sauce pan, melt butter. Cool slightly and add brown sugar, slightly beaten eggs and vanilla.

3Add flour mixture a small amount at a time, until combined. Add nuts.

4Spread mixture into a 13 x 9 inch pan, prepared with Pam. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.

5Bake @ 350 for 20-25 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE.
