Have I told you how much I love banana bread? Well, ALOT. These are another cookie swap cookie from last year. They have banana, oatmeal, chocolate chips and walnuts. The flavors are a great blend. Everyone raved about them. If you like banana bread you will love these cookies.

Ingredients For banana with friends cookies

1 cmashed ripe banana (about 2 small bananas)

1/2 cpacked brown sugar

1/4 csoftened butter

1/4 csugar

1 tspvanilla extract

1 lgegg
-
1 1/4 call-purpose flour

2 cquick oats
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 cmini semi sweet chocolate chips

1/4 cchopped walnuts
How To Make banana with friends cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the 1st 5 ingredients in a large bowl; Mix on medium speed until smmoth. Add egg; mix well.

2In a medium bowl add flour, oats, baking soda and salt, stirring with a whisk. Add dry ingredients to the banana mixture. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.

3Drop batter by heaping tablespoons 2" apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake for about 12 minutes until golden. Cool on pan for a few minutes, then remove and cool on completely on wire racks.
