This is a recipe that's been around for a while. I have altered things over the years but it is still the best tasting cookie recipe that I own. One of the things I did was add chocolate chips to the recipe...Gotta have a little chocolate, huh Makes about four dozen cookies....

Ingredients For banana oatmeal cookies

1 cbutter or margarine, softened

2 lgeggs

1 tspvanilla

2 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspcloves
-
1 tspcinnamon

3ripe bananas, mashed

2 crolled oats

1 cchocolate chips
How To Make banana oatmeal cookies

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in eggs and vanilla. set aside. In the meantime, sift together, flour, soda, cloves and cinnamon. Stir into the creamed mixture. Add the bananas, oats, and chocolate chips and mix until well blended. Drop dough by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets, one inch apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on baking racks. Drizzle the tops with melted chips if you like
