Ingredients For banana nut cookies

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    mashed bananas, be sure they are very ripe
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make banana nut cookies

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat until well mixed. Add bananas, milk and vanilla. Mix until well combine.

    In separate bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add dry mixture to large bowl. Stir until combined. Stir in nuts.

    Drop by teaspoon-fulls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, or until edges are browned.
