banana drop cookies

I don't know where I found this recipe for these cookies but my kids LOVED them while growing up. I would make a glaze to put on them sometimes which made them even more delish! So if you have a powdered sugar glaze you want to put on them, go for it!!

Ingredients For banana drop cookies

  • 2 1/8 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    cloves
  • 1/2 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    mashed banana
  • 1 c
    sugar

How To Make banana drop cookies

    Oven preheated to 375 degrees.

    Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and cloves. Set aside.

    Beat the 1/2 cup butter. Add the sugar, beat til fluffy.
  • 4
    Add the eggs and vanilla; beat well.

    Add the dry ingredients & 1 cup mashed banana, alternately.
  • 6
    Drop from spoonful on well greased pan and bake 10-12 minutes. Once cooled, eat as is or put a glaze on them!
