Ingredients For banana chocolate chip blondie bars

  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/2-1 c
    mashed banana
  • 1/2 c
    mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    baking soda

How To Make banana chocolate chip blondie bars

    In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Mix until combined. Add vanilla and egg, mix well.

    Whisk flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda together and add to wet ingredients. Add mashed bananas and stir until combined. Fold in mini chocolate chips and nuts. DO NOT OVERMIX. Sprinkle some mini chips on top.

    Pour into a greased and floured 8 X 8 inch baking pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
