Ingredients For bacon chocolate chip cookies

  • 2 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 1 c
    salted butter, softened
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    semi sweet chocolte chips, or mix with white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    nuts of your choice
  • 1 lb
    bacon, cooked crisp and cut into 1/4" pieces

How To Make bacon chocolate chip cookies

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

    Combine dry ingredients in medium sized bowl, set aside. In large bowl, mix sugars, add butter and mix well. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until well blended. Add the flour mixture a bit at a time. When dry ingredients are blended in, add chips, nuts and bacon pieces and mix in carefully. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 20-22 minutes until golden brown. Transfer onto cooling rack.
