14 ozcarmales (1 bag)

1 canevaporated milk
-
1 boxchocolate cake mix (with pudding)

1/2 cbutter, melted

1 cchocolate chips

1 1/2 cnuts (pecans)
How To Make baboon chocolate caramel nut bars

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the caramels plus 1/3 Cup of the evaporated milk, 3-4 minutes in the microwave. Stir every few minutes to not burn. When melted, leave in microwave to maintain the heat level.

2In a large bowl, mix the remaining milk, cake mix and butter. Press HALF of the cake mix into a "Pam" sprayed 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake 8 minutes.

3Sprinkle the chocolate chips, 1 cup of nuts over the crust you just baked. Top with the melted caramel mixture. Try to pour evenly about the pan.

4Top with spoonfulls of remaining cake mixture,sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake 16-18 minutes. Cool, Cut into bars.
