Aunt Liz won a blue ribbon with these. You can make the cookie part and freeze them till you want to use them. Don't freeze them with the jam already inside. Make sure you freeze them in a flat container.

1 csugar

1 cbutter crisco

2 stickbutter (room temperature)

3 1/2 cflour

2eggs

pinch of salt

1 Tbspvanilla

seedless raspberry jam

confectionary sugar for dusting
How To Make aunt liz's linzer tarts

1Cream butter and crisco with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat till combined. Add flour and salt.

2Put in refrigerator for about 2 hours.

3Roll on floured furface about 1/4 inch thick. Cut with linzer cookie cutter.

4Bake at 400 degree oven on cookie sheed sprayed with Pam till very light brown.

5After they are cool fill with jam and dust with confectionary sugar.
