1/4 cvegetable oil

1/4 csugar

1egg

1 tspvanilla

1/2 cunsweetened applesauce

1/2 cwhole wheat flour

1/2 cunbleached flour

2 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
1/8 tspcloves
-
1/2 crolled oats
-
1/2 craisins - dark or golden
How To Make applesauce raisin cookies/diabetic friendly

1Cream the oil and sugar together. Then add the egg and beat until light.

2Next blend in the vanilla and applesauce

3Stir the flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, oats, and raisins into the creamed mixture. Blend well.

4Drop cookies onto a lightly oiled baking sheet using a teaspoon. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
