Ingredients For appledoodle cookies

2 2/3 cflour

2 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 tspcinnamon

1/2 cbutter/margarine, softened

1/2 csugar

1/2 cbrown sugar

2eggs, beaten slightly

1 tspvanilla

1 cshredded, raw apple

1/2 tspnutmeg

How To Make appledoodle cookies

1Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, 1/2 t. cinnamon and 1/2 t. nutmeg. In a separate bowl cream together butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Combine flour mixture and sugar mixture and blend well, then add apple. In a small bowl mix the 2 T of sugar and 1 t of cinnamon to roll the dough in. Shape dough into balls and roll each in the cinnamon sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool on a rack. Enjoy.
