I got this recipe from an old friend of mine. It's a different twist of a Snickerdoodle cookie. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family and friends do.

Ingredients For apple cinnamon snickerdoodles

2 mdgranny smith apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/4 inch cubes

1 1/2 stickunsalted butter

1 clight brown sugar, lightly packed

1 cgranulated sugar

3 lgeggs

3 1/4 call purpose flour

3 Tbspcornstarch

1 1/2 tspbaking soda

3/4 tspsalt

3/4 tspnutmeg

1 tspcinnamon

1/2 cgranulated sugar

1 Tbspcinnamon
How To Make apple cinnamon snickerdoodles

1Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Set oven to preheat at 350.

2Stir together the following dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Set aside--

3In the mixer bowl, cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add both sugars and mix until fully incorporated. Next, add the eggs, one at a time, and beat until the batter looks well blended. Add the dry ingredients in sections, mixing well after each addition. Remove the bowl from the stand and gently stir in the diced apples.

4Measure the dough by approximately 1 tablespoon each and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until completely coated. Place the balls 2 inches apart on the parchment lined cookie sheets. Flatten slightly .

5Bake 9 minutes, then turn pan around and bake another 9 minutes. Allow cookies to cool in baking pan ---- Enjoy!!
