apple butter bars
(9 ratings)
My mother made these delicious bars often when I was growing up. No apple butter on hand? Fruit spreads, preserves, jams, and jellies work just fine. We've even used cranberry sauce before! :) I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I have, and still do.

This is one really easy dessert. Your friends are guaranteed to eat these up. These make a great dessert but could be really nice with a cup of tea at breakfast. We used apple butter, but bet raspberry jam would be wonderful in these too.
