LOOKING through our family albums and seeing all these angel faces. MOM said look you can make cookies for these little angels .SO the idea stuck in my head.HERE IT IS with help from my grandbabies.

Ingredients For angel crisp cookies

1/2 csplenda

1/2 cbrown sugar, light

1 cshortening
-
1 lgegg
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract

2 cflour
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspcream of tartar
How To Make angel crisp cookies

1PREHEAT OVEN TO 400* AND BAKE COOKIES FOR ONLY 8 to 20 minutes

2CREAM sugars, shortening , egg and vanilla. ADD dry ingredients sifted together .

3FORM into a walnut -size balls. DIP top half in water then sugar.

4PLACE on greased sheet and press down in center with finger AND BAKE IT FOR 8 TO 20 minutes and check on them,so that they overcook. CHECK with toothpick when it comes out clear they are done. COOL them and let it sit wire wrac,to cool.
