Ingredients For aloha chippers

1/2 cbutter or margarine, softened

1/3 csugar

1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1egg
-
1 Tbspdark rum or water

1 tspvanilla extract

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/8 tspsalt

1 1/4 call purpose flour
-
1/2 csemi-sweet chocolate chips
-
1 cvanilla or white chocolate chips

1/2 ccoconut, flaked
-
1/2 ccoarsely chopped macadamia nuts

flaked coconut
How To Make aloha chippers

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or leave ungreased.

2Cream butter, sugars, egg, rum, vanilla, baking soda and salt in large bowl until light and fluffy.

3Blend in flour until dough is smooth and stiff.

4Stir in semisweet and white chocolate chips, 1/2 the coconut and macadamia nuts.

5Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Sprinkle tops with additional coconut.

6Bake 8-10 minutes or until firm in center. Do not overbake. Remove to wire racks to cool.
