almond crescents

These are so darn fun to make, wrapping dough around your finger to make the crescent shape! The taste is wonderful, since I love almond flavor, and the extra kick of the powdered sugar dredged while the cookie is still warm makes them extra good.

Ingredients For almond crescents

  • 3/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 c
    sifted flour
  • 3/4 c
    ground almonds
  • 1 tsp
    almond oil

How To Make almond crescents

  • 1
    Beat butter and sugar, then fold in remaining ingredients. Chill dough one hour to firm. Pinch of a teaspoon at a time and form small round cylinder. Bend around a finger to form a crescent. Place on cookie sheets. Bake 10 min at 325 degrees. Dredge in powdered sugar while warm.
