My Grandma made these every Christmas. These are the best cookies ever. I can eat them any time of the year, it doesn't have to be Christmas.

Ingredients For adelaide's cocoons

2 stickbutter, room temperature

2 csifted flour

1 cchopped pecans

3/4 cconfectioners' sugar

1 Tbspwater

1 tspvanilla extract

1 tspalmond extract
How To Make adelaide's cocoons

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Cream butter and 1/4 cup of confectioner's sugar.

3Add vanilla, almond extract, and water.

4Blend in flour.

5Add chopped pecans.

6Form into small finger rolls by rolling in flour.

7Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. These will not brown like a typical cookie.

8While hot, roll in remaining confectioner's sugar.
