This is a recipe handed down from a great aunt who won several cooking contests with this same recipe. I hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Ingredients For simple black forest

  • 1 box
    chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 can
    cherry pie filling
  • GLAZE
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 16 oz
    semi sweet chocolate chips

How To Make simple black forest

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease baking sheet pan.

    Mix cake mix, almond extract, and cherry pie filling. Add to pan and bake for 25 minutes

    Add sugar, milk, and margarine for glaze in medium saucepan and bring to boil for one minute.

    Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Mix and pour over cake. Enjoy!
