My computer is acting weird, could not do power search to see if this recipe is already posted. This makes its own pudding, my kids love this. Well, they are grown now with families of their own, they still love this and so do G-children and even G-G-kids, soooo, that is pretty darn good record. If this is already posted, sorry, if not, then enjoy.

Ingredients For hot fudge pudding cake

  • 1 1/4
    cup sugar, divided
  • 1 cup
    flour
  • 7 tbs
    cocoa, divided
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 cup
    milk
  • 1/3 cup
    butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 cup
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup
    hot water
  • cool whip, whipped cream or ice cream

How To Make hot fudge pudding cake

    Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl, combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 3 Tbs cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, butter and vanilla; beat till smooth.

    Pour batter in ungreased 8 or 9 inch square pan. Stir together remaining 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and rest of cocoa; sprinkle mixture evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top: DO NOT STIR!!!!

    Bake 35-40 minutes, until center is set. Let stand 15 minutes, spoon into dessert dishes, spooning sauce from botton of pan over top. Garnish with your choice.
