Ingredients For grasshopper dessert

  • 1 (6) oz. pkg
    lime jello gelatin
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp
    peppermint extract
  • 2 c
    prepared dream whip or whipped topping

How To Make grasshopper dessert

  • 1
    Dessolve geltin and sugar in boiling water. Add cold water and flavoring, chill in a bowl until slightly thickened.

    Chill remaining gelatin in a 9 by 5 inch loaf panuntil firm. Cut into 1/2 inch cubes.

    Blend topping with the slightly thickened gelatin. Pour into a 4 c. sercing bowl and garnish.
