I know that other recipes posted here include this in them, but I wanted to list it separately. I love to dress up ordinary cakes with this rich chocolate sauce (icing)

Ingredients For ganache

  • 4 oz
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    instant coffee granules
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make ganache

  • 1
    Add all ingredients to the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Sir occasionally until melted and smooth.
  • 2
    Use in whatever recipe you have calling for Ganache or drizzle over cakes, cupcakes or ice cream.
