Ingredients For fudgy brownies

2 stickbutter, unsalted

4 ozunsweetened chocolate

5large eggs
-
2 csugar
-
1 Tbspvanilla extract

1 1/2 call purpose flour
-
1 tspsalt
-
3 ccoarsely chopped walnuts or pecans

24walnut or pecan halves
How To Make fudgy brownies

1Preheat over to 325 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 baking dish.

2In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat; cool.

3Beat eggs at high speed until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until pale yellow and slightly thickened. Beat in cooled chocolate mixture, then vanilla.

4Sift together flour and salt. Add nuts, tossing to coat. Stir flour mixture into chocolate mixture just until flour is incorporated.

5Spoon batter into prepared pan. Decorate top with nut halves.

6Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool brownies in pan for 15 minutes.
