This recipe is from a friends grandmother from England. I have been making it for twenty years . You do need a heavy kettle for this.

Ingredients For fudge

  • 4/12 c
    sugar
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk
  • 1 lb
    butter
  • 3 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 18 oz
    chocolate chips

How To Make fudge

  • 1
    Place sugar and milk in a heavy kettle. Bring to a rolling boil . Boil for ten minutes. Remove from heat and add butter. Beat with a wooden spoon for two minutes.

    Add chips and vanilla. Beat with a electric mixer on slow speed for 15 minutes. Add nuts and pour into a buttered pan
