A nice, easy brownie recipe. If you don't want nuts, don't add them.

Ingredients For frosted brownies, mom's

  • 1 c
    butter
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 4
    squares chcolate, melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1
    square chocolate, for frosting
  • 1 Tbsp
    corn syrup, for frosting
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted, for frosting
  • 3/4 c
    powdered sugar, for frosting
  • 1 bag
    chopped nuts

How To Make frosted brownies, mom's

  • 1
    Cream butter, add sugar and eggs, one at a time. Then chocolate, vanilla, flour and nuts. Spread evenly onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees 35 min.

    Melt chocolate for frosting. Combine all ingredients for frosting and frost while brownies are still warm.
