My friend and I had a "bake day" and this was another of the recipes we tried from the "Flour Me With Love" website. It is very dense and full of chocolate goodness, and oh-so-easy to make!

Ingredients For double chocolate toffee bread

1 csugar
-
1/4 cbutter, softened

1 csour cream
-
2 tspvanilla
-
2eggs
-
3/4 ccocoa (i used a dark cocoa)

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1/8 tspsalt
-
1 3/4 cflour
-
1 cchocolate chips
-
1 ctoffee bits
- TOPPING:

1/2 cchocolate chips
-
1/2 ctoffee bits
How To Make double chocolate toffee bread

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 5 in. bread pan.

2Cream the sugar, butter, sour cream & vanilla together. Mix in the eggs.

3Add the cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt & flour.

4Stir in the chocolate chips & toffee bits, and then pour into the greased pan. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips & toffee bits on top.

5Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-55 min. Let it cool for a few minutes and then remove from pan. Enjoy!!
