My family loves Rice Krispie Treats. I love to make and bake different kinds of goodies. So, I thought I would combine a couple of things and make them even better. They're always a big hit.

Ingredients For dark chocolate/peanut butter rice krispie bars

2 bagmini marshmallows (10 oz each)

1 pkgdark chocolate chips (10 oz)

1/2 cbutter

1 cpeanut butter, crunchy

1 boxRice Krispie cereal (18 oz)

1/2 pkgdark chocolate chips (10 oz package)

1 pkgReese's peanut butter chips (10 oz)
How To Make dark chocolate/peanut butter rice krispie bars

1Add the dark chocolate chips to a microwavable bowl and heat at 50% for 1 min. Remove from microwave and stir, place back in the microwave for an additional 30 seconds until melted. Set aside.

2In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter and the 2 bags of marshmallows.

3Add in the peanut butter and melted chocolate. Stir until combined.

4Remove from the heat then add 18 ounces of Rice Krispie cereal and mix well. The mixture will be thick.

5Lightly butter an 11x15" pan. Pour the mixture into it. Press down with wax paper until even in the pan. Set aside.

6In microwavable dishes, add the peanut butter chips in one and the dark chocolate in another. Melt at 50% for 1 minute. Stir and repeat for 30-second intervals until melted. Pour the melted peanut butter chips over the top of the rice krispie bars and spread to cover.

7Then pour the melted dark chocolate into a baggie. Cut off the tip and drizzle over the top.

8Let sit for about and hour or until the chocolate has set. Cut into bars. Makes about 32.
