The mint and melted chocolate topping is decadent on these brownies! I got this recipe from my mom, but I'm not sure where she got it from. A delicious brownie variation I've never seen anywhere else!

Ingredients For creme de menthe brownies

1 csugar

2 stickmargarine (divided) +

6 Tbspmargarine

4eggs
-
1 tspvanilla

1/2 tspsalt

1 cflour

16 ozhershey's chocolate syrup

1 csemi-sweet chocolate chips

2 cpowdered sugar

1/4 ccreme de menthe liquor
How To Make creme de menthe brownies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees; Grease and flour 9x13 cake pan.

2BROWNIES: Cream together sugar and 1 stick of margarine. Add eggs, vanilla and salt and beat well. Gradually add flour and Hershey's syrup (alternating) and beat well.

3Bake the brownie mix for 30 minutes and allow to cool.

4CHOCOLATE TOPPING: While brownies are baking, melt together chocolate chips and 6 Tablespoons margarine and allow to cool.

5CREME DE MENTHE ICING: Beat together powdered sugar, 1 stick margarine, and creme de menthe until fluffy.

6Spread icing over brownies, then spread melted chocolate on top.

7Note: Chill brownies in refrigerator to set icing and chocolate; serve cool or room temperature but store in refrigerator.
