creamy avocado-chocolate mousse

I saw this being made on the Food Network Show today..And was amazed at how creamy and smooth it looked. It was a girls day of relaxing..this looked so interesting and I love avocados and chocolate so I thought I would try it...maybe you will make it too!

Ingredients For creamy avocado-chocolate mousse

  • 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 4 md
    very ripe avocados, pitted and scooped out of shell
  • 1/2 c
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 c
    agave
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    almond milk, more or less

How To Make creamy avocado-chocolate mousse

  • 1
    Place all ingredients in a food processor, except milk and blend until smooth. Scrap down sides of bowl if needed, slowly add the almond milk until mousse reaches a thick and satiny consistency. Spoon into dessert glasses and chill for 3 hours and then serve with a fresh raspberry on top.

    Note: Be sure avocados are ripe but not over ripe- If not ripe enough they will leave lumps in the mousse.
