My family and church members love to see me carrying this cool, sweet, yummy, chocolatey dessert in my hands when I come to family reunions or church dinners.

Ingredients For chocolate trifle

  • 19.8 oz. box
    brownie mix
  • 3.9 oz. box
    instant chocolate pudding
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 14 oz
    can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 oz
    container cool whip, thawed
  • 12 oz
    cool whip, thawed
  • 1 1/2 oz
    plain hershey bar

How To Make chocolate trifle

    Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Cool. Cut into one-inch squares.

    In a bowl, combine pudding mix, water and canned milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in the 8 oz, container of Cool Whip. Mix until there are no streaks.

    In the trifle bowl, put in half the brownies, then half the pudding mixture and half of the 12 oz. container of Cool Whip. Repeat layers. Places separated sections of Hershey Bar on top of last layer of Cool Whip. Refrigerate eight hours before serving.
