Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- green food coloring
- 1/2 cup butter
- 12 ounces bags chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate mint brownies

Step 1Bake brownie mix in a 9x13 pan according to box instructions. Cool completely.

Step 2Mix together 1/2 c. Room temperature butter, confectioners sugar, milk, and peppermint extract until smooth and creamy. Add in a drop or two of green food coloring until reaches desired color. Taste, add a few drops more of the mint extract if wanted.

Step 3Spread smoothly on top of cooled brownies. Put in fridge for 15-20 minutes to set the frosting a little.

Step 4Melt chocolate chips and 1/2 cup butter together in microwave for one minute, stir, continue microwaving stirring every 10 seconds or so until fully melted.

Step 5Pour on top of frosted brownies, carefully spread chocolate until all frosting is covered. Refrigerate until set.
