Growing up as a child, this was what I made when we were having a big breakfast (morning or for supper-my favorite). This is soo yummy over biscuits with a little butter.

Ingredients For chocolate gravy

1 1/2 csugar

1/4 call purpose flour
-
1/2 ccocoa, unsweetened

2 cmilk
-
1/4 cbutter
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract
How To Make chocolate gravy

1In medium size saucepan, mix dry ingredients to break up flor and cocoa lumps.

2Add milk and cook on medium/high heat until mixture becomes thick and bubbly.

3Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.

4Serve over scratch buttermilk biscuits (no canned or frozen biscuits please- that would be a southern sin haha!)
