Ingredients For chocolate covered craisin sourdough muffins

1 cactive sourdough starter

3eggs
-
1 coil
-
1/2 cmilk
-
1 csugar
-
1/2 tspvanilla

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2` tspbaking soda
-
2 cflour
-
1 boxchocolate pudding
-
1 pkgcraisins, or other dried fruit

1/2 pkgsemi-sweet chocolate chips

1recipe, struessel topping
- STRUESSEL TOPPING

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cflour
-
1/4` cbutter
-
1 tspcinnamon
How To Make chocolate covered craisin sourdough muffins

1Preheat oven to 325 and prepare muffin papers in muffin pans

2Mix all ingredients together for muffins. Fill muffin papers half full.

3Mix struessel topping together until it forms loose crumbs, if it clumps, add small amounts of flour until the crumb forms. Top muffins with struessel.

4Bake muffins in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5Allow muffins to cool in pans 10 minutes and remove to wire rack.

6Variations can include different fresh or dried fruits, other types of chips and flavors of pudding. Vanilla pudding, white chocolate chips and dried cherries would be YUMMY!
