1 stickbutter

1 cplus 1 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 cself rising flour

1/8 tspsalt

1 tspvanilla extract

1 tspalmond extract (optional)

3/4 cmilk
- CHOCOLATE LAYER:

1 csugar

6 Tbspcocoa powder

2 cboiling water
How To Make jan's easy chocolate cobbler

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt the stick of butter in a 13 X 9-inch glass baking dish.

2In a bowl, mix the 1 c. plus 2 T. sugar, flour, vanilla, and milk. Pour this batter over the butter in baking dish, but do NOT stir.

3In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa and remaining 1 cup of sugar. Sprinkle the cocoa/sugar mixture over the batter. Again, do NOT stir.

4Pour the 2 cups of boiling water on top of the cocoa/sugar (do not stir). Bake for about 30-45 minutes.
