Ingredients For chocolate chip pecan pie bars

  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    white corn syrup
  • 3/4 c
    white sugar or ½ cup white and ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 11 oz
    semisweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 1/2 c
    coarsely chopped pecans

How To Make chocolate chip pecan pie bars

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray w/cooking spray a 9 x 13 cake pan. Mix together flour, butter and 1st brown sugar until mixture is crumbly. Press into bottom of cake pan. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla with wire whisk. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Pour over baked crust, spread out evenly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until middle is set. Let cool completely before serving, needs to cool so that it completely sets and won’t be runny.
