My mom has been making this for years. I love the whole thing, but my favorite part is the crust. It smells wonderful while it is baking.... yum! This pic does not do it justice, but I just wanted to see if I could post a pic on here. I did it!!!!!!!

Ingredients For chocolate cheese dessert
- CRUST

2 stickmelted butter

2 call purpose flour

1 cfinely chopped pecans
- FIRST LAYER

18-ounce container cool whip

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1 csugar
- SECOND LAYER

1 lgbox instant chocolate pudding mix
- LAST LAYER

18-ounce container cool whip

How To Make chocolate cheese dessert

1Mix crust ingredients together with a fork and press into 9x13 glass baking dish (bottom, not sides). Bake at 375* for 25 minutes. Cool completely.

2First layer: Mix all ingredients together with a mixer. Spread on cooled crust.

3Second layer: Prepare pudding mix according to package directions. Pour on top of cheese layer. Put in fridge for 15 minutes to let pudding set up.

4Last layer: Spread 2nd container of cool whip on chocolate pudding layer. Sprinkle top with chopped pecans. Chill for at least a couple of hours, if not more, before serving.
