Ingredients For choc caramel slice

  • 1 1/4 c
    self raising flour
  • 1/3 c
    caster sugar
  • 125 g
    butter, melted
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 2x400 can
    condensed milk
  • 100 g
    butter
  • 200 g
    good quality dark chocolate chopped
  • 1/2 c
    thickened cream

How To Make choc caramel slice

  • 1
    BASE-Preheat oven to 180c and line a slice pan.Put flour and sugar,add melted butter stir til combined.Press firmly into pan and bake 20minutes.

    CARAMEL FILLING-Put brownsugar condensed milk and butter into saucepan.Cook over low heat stirring constantly for 18-20 minutes or tlit thickens.Pour over base and bake further 15-20 minutes or til golden on top.Let cool.

    CHOCOLATE TOPPING-Melt chocolate and cream over low heat and pour over caramel.Place in fridge for 1 hour.
