I made this up as a surprise treat for my ex-husband. I did not serve it often enough.

Ingredients

2 - 3 cans cherry pie filling
1 1/2 cups milk choclate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- pancake mix to make 10 - 12 pancakes
- milk as directed
- eggs as directed
- oil if directed

How To Make cherry chocolate chip pancake surprise

Step 1

Prepare pancake mix as directed. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour out and cook pancakes to the size you desire.

Step 2

Slowly heat cherry pie filling until very warm.
Step 3

Stack 2 or 3 pancakes and spoon cherry pie filling over them - about 1/2 c. for 3 pancakes
