Ingredients For caramel peanut butter bars
- COOKIE BASE:

1 pkgsugar cookie mix

1/2 cbutter, softened

1egg
-
15miniature chocolate covered peanut butter cup candies, coarsely chopped
- FILLING:

36caramels, unwrapped
-
1 cansweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)

1/4 ccreamy peanut butter

1/2 cpeanuts
- TOPPING:
-
1 bottlerich & creamy milk chocolate frosting

1/2 cpeanuts, chopped
How To Make caramel peanut butter bars

1First pre heat oven to 350F. Then spray bottom & sides of 13x9 inch pan with cooking spray. Then in large bowl stir cookie mix, butter & egg until soft dough forms. Then stir in candies & press dough in bottom of the pan. Then bake 18 to 20 mins or until light golden brown.

2Next in a 2 quart saucepan heat caramels & milk over medium heat & make sure to stir constantly until caramels are melted. Then stir in the peanut butter. Then heat to boiling. Then cook 2 mins, stirring frequently. Remove from heat & stir in 1/2 cup peanuts & spread over warm cookie base. Let cool completely for about 2 hours.

3Then spread the frosting evenly over filling. Then sprinkle with the chopped peanuts. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled. Then to make the bars cut 9 rows by 4 rows. Then store covered in refrigerator.
